We use information to authenticate users; connect requested services; sync, search, display, summarize, compose, and send email; answer requests; maintain context; provide support; prevent abuse; secure the service; and improve user-facing features.
When you request an AI feature, Spark may send the information needed for that request to contracted AI service providers. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.
Google API data
Spark's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We use Google data only to provide or improve user-facing features that you request. We do not use Google user data to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
How we share information
We may share information with service providers that process data for Spark, when you direct us to share it, to comply with law, to protect users and the service, or as part of a corporate transaction. Service providers may use the information only to perform services for Spark.
Storage, security, and retention
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. We retain information while it is needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Retention periods depend on the data type and feature.
